opening and closing performances by the Daily Rhythms Collective
How do water bodies and their complex ecosystems shape our ecological identities? Can we sense our inner waters while deep-listening to the river? What is there to (un)learn, when we engage in a river friendship?

Island 3: Water Memories
A Collective Sentimental Cartography
Photography, Drawings, Texts, and Objects by pupils and the artist
The pupils of class 10F at Friedrich-Spee-Gesamtschule joined the artist in exploring their geographies through water. They followed the rivers, seas, water tanks, and wells of their childhood memories, and engaged with the Pader through mindful walks and sensory exercises. This island became a subtle map of the bodies of water that have shaped and continue to shape us—a poetic merging of places and displacements. Fluid landscapes that unveil ecological identities and weave stories we share, towards a sense of Earth Citizenship.
